U Earned It

U Earned It is built on the premise that trust matters. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to operate the service. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you join our waitlist or subscribe, we collect your email address. If you're a restaurant owner using our dashboard, we may also collect your restaurant's name and business email.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we collect standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. We use this to understand how our service is used and to detect abuse.

Payment information

We use Stripe to process payments. We never see or store your full credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. We store only a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

Restaurant data

We aggregate publicly available Google review data to compute restaurant scores. We do not collect or store private customer review data beyond what is publicly visible.

2. How we use your information

To send you feature notifications and subscription updates via email
To send weekly performance reports to restaurant subscribers (Verified and Pro tiers)
To send threshold proximity alerts when your restaurant score approaches the 4.6 minimum
To process and manage your subscription through Stripe
To improve and operate the U Earned It service
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Email communications

By joining our waitlist or subscribing, you agree to receive emails related to the service — including launch announcements, weekly reports, and threshold alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.

We use Resend to deliver emails. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering messages from U Earned It.

4. Data sharing

We share your data only with the following third-party services, and only as necessary to operate the service:

Supabase — database hosting (US-based, SOC 2 compliant)
Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
Resend — email delivery
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Google Places API — public review data aggregation

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain your email and subscription data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days before deletion, in case you wish to reactivate. Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Unsubscribe from all email communications

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to operate the service (such as authentication sessions). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

8. Children's privacy

U Earned It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify subscribers of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
